What is fresh-milled flour?

Fresh-milled flour is flour ground from whole wheat berries just before baking. Unlike store-bought flour, which is stripped and shelf-stable, fresh-milled flour keeps all the natural nutrients, oils and flavor from the whole grain. It’s more flavorful, more nourishing, and gives our rolls a soft, rich texture you can taste.

Are The Good Rolls gluten-free?

No — The Good Rolls are not gluten-free, as we use wheat in all our dough. However, because the flour is milled fresh, some people with mild gluten sensitivities find our rolls easier to digest than baked goods that are made with heavily processed flour.

How do I place an order?

You can order in two ways (Links are on my order page):

1. Custom orders (on mycustombakes) for dozens or Take & Bake packages. Select your pick-up date when ordering

2. Weekly Drops (on Hotplate) for 4-pack, dozen boxes, Take & Bake, and other seasonal packages. You can also build your own box with a mix of flavors. Weekly Drop orders are usually open from Monday-Wednesday, and pick-up is on Fridays.

Do you offer same-day orders?

Because everything is made fresh from scratch, 2 days notice is usually needed for orders. Occasionally, we’ll have extra rolls available — follow along on instagram or sign up for my weekly drop notifications to stay in the loop!

What if I only need a few rolls instead of a dozen?

At this time, custom orders are available by the dozen or through my Take & Bake packs. For smaller quantities, you can shop my weekly drops! In the drops I offer 4-packs of my rolls. You can even build your own mix, so you can get a taste of all the flavors without committing to a full dozen of one flavor.

Do you cater for events or take large orders?

Yes! I love being a part of your celebrations — from office breakfasts to wedding showers and everything in-between. Larger orders are always welcome, but please keep in mind that lead times may increase depending on the size of the of your order. The sooner you reach out, the better I can make sure your rolls are baked fresh and ready right when you need them.

How do I get my rolls?

Right now I offer pick-up and limited delivery within the Lubbock area.
